The Intergroup Neuroscience Lab at Harvard University (PI: Mina Cikara) seeks a post-doctoral fellow to study the psychological and neural foundations of conflict in intergroup contexts. The laboratory is housed in the psychology department and provides access to an excellent research-training environment. Strong applicants will have:
Experience in designing, analyzing, and interpreting fMRI brain imaging data.
Topical expertise in formalizing and implementing computational approaches to decision-making.
Demonstrated ability to complete projects as evidenced by first-author publications.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong computer, statistical, and technical skills (Matlab, Python, R, SPM, FSL, AFNI, or similar platforms).
This position is fully funded for two years at NRSA salary levels, with the possibility of extension for a third year, and also includes dedicated funds for functional neuroimaging and other research expenses. Candidates of any background are encouraged to apply, but those with a background in computational cognitive neuroscience may be especially suited for this position.
